I’ve always been obsessed with how we learn.
Some of my earliest memories are of lining up stuffed animals on my bedroom floor, delivering meticulously planned lessons.
But when I became an actual high-school teacher in my twenties, I lost my way. I focused so hard on delivering content that I forgot to build relationships. Teaching felt like a battle, not a breakthrough.
The “Aha!” moment
Then I sat in a workshop led by a truly skilled facilitator.
The room was exciting. Learning felt alive, powerful and fun.
Later, when I began running my own train-the-trainer sessions, I noticed a pattern: brilliant subject-matter experts were relying on massive slide decks and information dumps. They had the passion, but they lacked the toolkit.

The ripple effect
That’s why I founded Fully Engaged.
Great facilitation is not about lecturing. It is a craft rooted in brain-based learning and genuine connection.
When we transform the way an expert trains, we do not just help them — we upskill every learner they will ever work with.
